Rôle dans l’organisation

Le ou la titulaire du poste assure le service à la clientèle auprès des étudiants et étudiantes dans le cadre de leur cheminement en reconnaissance des acquis et des équivalences. Il ou elle effectue également le suivi administratif des dossiers, s’assure de la complétude des documents requis et fournit un soutien tout au long du processus.

Principales responsabilités/activités

  • Reçoit, analyse et valide la conformité des demandes d'équivalence des étudiants et étudiantes, saisit et met à jour les données informatiques et effectue les suivis requis de ces dossiers;
  • Assure le service à la clientèle aux étudiants et étudiantes futur(e)s et actuel(le)s en répondant aux demandes de renseignements et les informe sur les choix de programmes pour devenir CPA et sur toute autre question pouvant survenir au cours de leur cheminement;
  • Effectue les suivis d'abandon de cheminement des étudiants et étudiantes. Produit, prépare et consolide divers rapports et statistiques pour sa direction;
  • Effectue la validation des dossiers des candidats et candidates qui font leur demande de permis par réciprocité, s’assure que tous les éléments sont au dossier et que toutes les étapes du cheminement ont été complétées conformément aux règlements;
  • Assume le suivi et analyse la conformité des demandes de reconnaissance en vue de l'obtention du permis de comptabilité publique, en collaboration avec le chargé ou la chargée, Reconnaissance des acquis;
  • Effectue les envois massifs de courriels et s’assure de la qualité de la base de données des équivalences. Prépare les correspondances nécessaires et les achemine aux étudiants et étudiantes ou aux autres acteurs pertinents;
  • Reçoit la correspondance de l’équipe à la reconnaissance des acquis, s’assure de l’intégralité des documents nécessaires dans les dossiers selon les différents cheminements;
  • Participe à la gestion documentaire et au classement physique et numérique des dossiers en assurant le contrôle de la qualité des documents numérisés;
  • Participe aux activités de recrutement des étudiants et étudiantes avec un profil lié aux équivalences;
  • Effectue toute autre tâche requise dans le cadre de ses fonctions.

Qualifications

Formation et expérience

  • Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) en administration, bureautique ou autre domaine connexe;
  • 2 à 4 ans d’expérience dans un poste comportant des fonctions et responsabilités similaires;

Une combinaison de formation dans ce domaine et d'années d'expérience pertinentes pourrait également être considérée

CGI is seeking a Paralegal to join its Corporate Secretariat & Legal Affairs team on a full-time, permanent basis. This “hands-on” position involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with other members of the Corporate Secretariat & Legal Affairs team on corporate governance, compliance and related matters involving CGI Inc. and its subsidiaries in over 40 countries.

Vos futures responsabilités et devoirs

Reporting to the Director, Corporate Secretarial Services, and working from our office in downtown Montreal, the successful candidate will:

• Coordinate, prepare and review documentation relating to changes to legal entities, including incorporations, reorganisations, liquidations and dissolutions, changes to directors and officers and powers of attorney.
• Coordinate, prepare and maintain corporate records and statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions, including annual returns, corporate resolutions, and documentation relating to the approval of financial statements.
• Coordinate and prepare corporate documentation relating to commercial transactions and internal reorganisations, including closing checklists and coordination of deliverables.
• Assist with the fulfilment of KYC and related requests for corporate information.
• Coordinate various deliverables among the Corporate Secretariat & Legal Affairs team, other CGI members throughout the world in the legal, finance and tax functions and our external lawyers.
• Manage corporate record-keeping processes.
• Resolve routine enquiries and requests with respect to corporate maintenance matters.

Qualifications requises

  • Experience in a similar corporate function or legal environment, ideally within an international environment.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and entity management across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently, show initiative and be proactive.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Customer service mentality and ability to manage competing deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and spoken English and French.
  • A law degree, paralegal certification (such as Diploma of collegial studies in Paralegal technologies, or equivalent legal training would be an advantage, but not essential.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
